Really good song, awesome video... Día de los Muertos meets the Cantina scene (sort of). Enjoy!

OPEN REQUEST SUNDAY: The Jacksons, "Can You Feel It"

From reliable Tuna Day supplier Mari comes what in 2001 was deemed one of the 100 greatest music videos of all time. Mari: the fiery, floating, amorphous bodies exploding in space kind of creep me out. Thanks, though.

2Pac & Snoop Dogg, "Hail Mary" and "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" ("Live" at Coachella 2012)

If you have been living on the bright side of a cave the last few days, you've likely already seen this (or at least heard about it).  Still, it deserves its own Tuna Day.  How far we've come since Leia's plaintive cry for help.

Jack White, "Sixteen Saltines"

First came his appearance on SNL last week, then the video to the second single (this was the first) from Mssr. White's first solo album, Blunderbuss, made its online debut two days ago.  Thwack!

Yeah Yeah Yeahs, "Heads Will Roll"

Counterpoint to yesterday's post... Another Saturday, another dose of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.  From It's Blitz!, here's an homage to MJ and Thriller...

TV On The Radio, "Wolf Like Me"

Let's usher in Halloween weekend in a properly spooky fashion.  Here you go, from Return to Cookie Mountain...

Laura Marling, "Ghosts"

The video is both sweet and a little creepy.  The song is just great.  Enjoy!

OPEN REQUEST SUNDAY: The Irrepressibles, "In This Shirt"

We're starting a new tradition here at Tuna Day.  One of our (4) listeners, Bryce Hubertz, has requested a tunaday.  From this point forward, Sundays will be devoted to reader requests.  So I guess that means each of you get to pick a song every month!  Failing that, I suppose requests will start coming in from fictitious followers.  Either that, or Denmark, where Tuna Day apparently has amassed a sizable following.

Anyway, without further ado, I--Bryce presents a weird and creepy, melodramatic and operatic epic from The Irrepressibles.  Enjoy?

She & Him, "Why Do You Let Me Stay Here"

Great video from Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward, from the album Volume One.  Lovely, but morbid.  Enjoy!
