Another one brought on by Mike's and Morgan's wedding, here's Peter Gabriel covering the Magnetic Fields' song for his album Scratch My Back. Maura and I were fortunate to witness Gabriel's show last year at Radio City Music Hall, the first half of which was a performance of the album in its entirety... with a 52-piece orchestra. It was fantastic, especially this song.
this song is featured in the Scrubs series finale (the last official scrubs episode, before the "new" show began) and i just saw that episode again the other weekend. as jd was thinking of his many years at sacred heart and what his future holds, they played this song during a montage. and i began to think of my almost 9 years here in nyc...so this song reminds me of that. it's a great song, but makes me very sad.
