Bishop Allen, "True or False"

No. 1 Rule of Tuna Day: We are hopelessly behind the curve.  Case Study #37: Bishop Allen.  They're from Brooklyn, and I only just heard of them... because they came up on my last.fm radio!  Anyway, I love this song, and the video's great, too.  Lest you think we'll end the year on such an upbeat note, come back tomorrow to get depressed about the march of time.  Or not.  Maybe this is a good end to 2011.

Curtis Mayfield, "We Got To Have Peace"

A Very Important Holiday Public Service Announcement: Yes, children--Santa Claus is very real. And he has a gun and a shovel and is vindictive. Plus, he sorely needs to do laundry. Ho ho ho.
